With NATO planning an early defection from Afghanistan, US is now dragging India into the killing fields as replacement mercenary army for hire. Indians have their own strategic objectives to be in the backyard of Pakistan with the ability to stab Pakistan in the back, riding on the US tanks. An ideal geo-political and geo-strategic position to be in. Delhi is not missing this opportunity. The US war in Afghanistan has taken another very hostile turn for Pakistan now. Every act of US is now a declaration of war against Pakistan.

Americans have now made it clear that while they are on a war path with Pakistan, India now becomes their strategic military partner for the dominance of South Asia in the 21st century. In Afghanistan also, India would now be replacing the NATO, which is drawing back its combat roles slowly. US would now be more and more dependent upon Indian presence in Afghanistan to contain the Taliban as well as to enhance the war inside Pakistan. This is a dream strategic opportunity for the Indians to encircle Pakistan from all axis – eastern, western and within the country through the deployed 4thGW.

Buoyant by the encouragement from the Americans, India is now toughing its stance on all strategic issues against Pakistan. It makes perfect sense that now Indians would come in a aggressive, pro-active and bullying mode against Pakistan, exploiting the deteriorating relations between Pakistan and US.

Pakistan army can never accept India as friends or even an ally or even an ally of US in Afghanistan. The Indian role in waging the presently deployed 4th GW against Pakistan is being seen with great anger and rage in Pakistan for long. The Indian Cold start military doctrine, which envisions surprise raids into Pakistan from multiple axis, is a threat Pakistan cannot match through conventional forces in the present national security environment where 55% of the army is already deployed in combat duties fighting the multiple Indian backed insurgencies. This vulnerability in conventional forces has now forced Pakistan to rely more heavily upon the unconventional weapons. Pakistan has conveyed this message to the Indians in no uncertain terms.

There are many strategic thinkers in US who know clearly that the present Obama policy of deploying India in Afghanistan at the cost of Pakistan would mean Pakistan would turn totally hostile and would then openly side with the Afghan resistance leading to the fate of the US as that of the Soviet Union. This is a fact that Indian presence in Afghanistan under the patronage of Americans would be an act of war and would be responded in kind by Pak army. There is no doubt about this.

The blockade of NATO supplies is the single most strategic master stroke which has brought the US on its knees. History has hardly seen such a docile US as we see in these days. Despite the bravado, the fact remains that US is now hopelessly trapped and dependent upon Pakistan and is too keen not to antagonize Pakistan army or the nation. There is genuine panic in US now. There is no denying that.

US is too eager to get the supplies opened and is bending backwards for the first time openly but treading very carefully not to be seen as being defeated. The arrogance of a defeated super power still remains strong. Pakistan is insisting in rubbing the nose of the Americans. Americans are red faced, humiliated and desperate to avoid the public insult. The PPP regime is hell bent upon making it easy for the Americans but the fear of army and the backlash in the nation is forcing them to tread slowly. Pak army is more firm and forthright in their stance and the message is clear – no nonsense will be accepted from US now.

There are essentially multiple issues which are now serious security threats for Pakistan. It is NOT just a question of an apology from the US. If the Pakistani government decides to release the NATO supplies in defiance of the parliament’s decision, that would be an act of treason and war against the state. Pakistan is in an existential war for its survival due to the US presence in Afghanistan and the threats which Pakistan face are far more severe and life threatening than the issue of an attack on a post and an apology.

If Pakistan allows the NATO supplies that would mean Pakistan would become “Iraq” within the next few months and that would be a self inflicted suicide by the army and the government and would go down in history as the most strategic military blunder by any nation in history.

The critical issues which have turned Pakistan into almost a “Somalia” and threaten to make Pakistan into another “Iraq” are following for which Pakistani patriots blame the US presence in Afghanistan.

If army makes a mistake here, that would be end of Pakistan and end of army as an institution. They know it and thus are holding their grounds despite extreme pressure from the US and the PPP regime. For the army, keeping the love and respect of the nation is most critical at this stage when multiple high intensity insurgencies are being waged in the country and the armed forces need full support of the nation and the patriots.

Within the country, the meltdown of state organs continues rapidly as now even the Supreme Court is tainted with corruption and nepotism. The CJ is now badly burnt also. The media was also exposed and the treason of the PPP regime in writing the infamous memo has also been exposed. This is the most farcical, bizarre and diabolical situation of politics, judiciary and governance in the country.

Pakistan has reached at the most decisive phase of its volatile history. It can either rise to become the most powerful nation in the region or it can become an occupied land and led towards disintegration like Yugoslavia. It can all happen within the next few months.
