This shameless propaganda of Indians on the number of Pak army prisoners should have been killed officially by Pakistan Govt & ISPR..... but somehow, the Indian narrative of lies remains alive even today...

 

One of the most preposterous lies spread by the Indians about 1971 East Pak war was that 92,000 Pakistani troops had surrendered.
Fact is that there were only 35 thousand Pak army troops in East Pak, part of one single under strength Corp led by a Lt General.

We will be doing a series of tweets on East Pakistan now....destroying the Indian propaganda lies with facts, quotes & evidence from all sides of the war in East Pakistan.
Even serious Indians accept the fact that figure of 92K military prisoners is nothing but propaganda.

There were few thousand civilian prisoners as well. Govt servants, their families, ordinary west Pakistani civilians etc etc...but still, altogether, the total figure remains less than 50K, certainly not 92K.
Indians are shameless liars & Pak Govt never clarified through records.
