In 1971, Indira Gandhi signed a joint defense pact with Soviet Union and checkmated China. US was already on board the Indian plan to dismember Pakistan. Once all the diplomatic alliances were made, India launched a full scale attack on East Pakistan in November 1971.. Before that, since March, they were waging a massive urban war through Mukti Bahini terrorists bogging down Pak army.
42 years later, we see an exact repeat. US is on board an Indian plan to dismember Pakistan and now Russia is also the strategic partner. TTP terrorists and BLA are already waging a massive urban war and now Indian PM has forged alliances with US, Russia, Israel and UN. They will checkmate China.

We have no govt today, no judiciary, hostile media, insurgencies, collapsed economy and total confusion over new army chief and joint chief. Ideal time for enemies to attack.
