All of you know MM Alam sahib but few of you know that he was one of my mentors, fatherly figure, teacher, comrade in arms and a fellow Mujahid with me in the Afghan Jihad.

 


All of you know MM Alam sahib but few of you know that he was one of my mentors, fatherly figure, teacher, comrade in arms and a fellow Mujahid with me in the Afghan Jihad. I translated my book From Indus to Oxus upon his urging though he passed away before the Urdu version was published..

Here are few pages from the book where Alam sahib is mentioned.....

He shot down 5 Indian fighter jets in less than 30 seconds on this day... 1965... !!
