This old Mauritanian Sheikh has learned this Sunnah of Wuzu from an unbroken chain of teachers dating back to the time of Sayyadi Rasul Allah (sm), MashAllah, a tradition still practiced in many parts of the Ummah.

In North Africa especially, the desert Muslims have jealously guarded these traditions. You must have heard of the great seat of Islamic learning in North Africa: Like Bokhara, Samarkand, Baghdad, Undulus, Damishq and Medina, North Africa has also been a great center of learning for the Ummah. The politicians are guilty of stupidity, judiciary of myopia and army of silence, police of cowardice. This is our azaan on that tragedy where state if falling back and terrorists are gaining ground because they have sensed the weakness of the state. The only solution is the hand over the war to army -- let the army track them, fight them, capture them, trial them and execute them. There is NO other way now.
