 ترکوں کی ایک بہت ہی خوبصورت عادت ہے ۔ جب بھی محمد ﷺ کا ذکر ان کے سامنے کیا جاتا ہے یا وہ خود ذکر کرتے ہیں تو احتراماً اپنا ہاتھ اپنے دلوں پر رکھ لیتے ہیں یا سلام کرتے ہیں

"ادب سے عروج کی داستان"

صدیوں سے عثمانی ترکوں کا ایک طریقہ رہا ہے کہ جب حدیث میں یا خطبے میں یا گھر میں یا اور کوئی بات چیت میں جب آقائے دوجہاں "جنابِ محمدﷺ" کا مبارک نام زبانوں پر آتا تو عثمانی ترک اپنے ہاتھ دلوں پر رکھ دیتے ہیں اور اپنا سر جھکا لیتے ہیں اور آقائے دوجہاں پر درودِ پاک پڑھ لیتے ہیں،

پھر وہ لوگ جو کہتے تھے کہ کیوں؟
رسول اللہﷺ تو مدینے میں ہیں اور مدینہ بہت دور ہے،

عثمانی ترکوں کا خوبصورت سا جواب،
جنابِ رسول اللہﷺ ہمارے دلوں میں زندہ ہیں اور ایسا کرنے سے ہمارے دلوں کو سکون ملتا ہے،
عثمانی ترکوں نے مثالی ادب سے اپنے گردنوں کو جھکایا اور اپنے اعلیٰ درجے سے قبل خود کو کم کیا تو اللہ نے ان کو عروج پر اٹھایا.اور ساری دنیا کا حاکم و سردار بنا کر انکو ہمیشہ کی عزت دی ۔

 علامہ اقبالؒ نے بہت واضح طور پر فرمایا کہ اپنی اسلام دشمنی میں دیوبند وہی کردار ادا کررہے ہیں کہ جو قادیانی امت رسولﷺ کے خلاف ادا کررہے ہیں

ایں چہ بوالعجبی است

کیا اس شخص سے زیادہ کوئی بدنصیب اور ظالم ہوسکتا ہے کہ سیدی رسول اللہﷺ ہجرت فرمانا چاہیں اور وہ سیدیﷺ کی راہ میں رکاوٹیں ڈالے، اور لوگوں کو سیدیﷺ کے ساتھ ہجرت سے روکے اور یہ کہے کہ مشرکوں اور مسلمانوں کو مکے میں ہی اکٹھے رہنا چاہیے؟
کیا اس شخص سے زیادہ کوئی بدنصیب، گستاخ اور کافر ہوسکتا ہے کہ جو غزوئہ بدر کے موقع پر ابوجہل کے ساتھ کھڑا ہو اور سیدی رسول اللہﷺ کے لشکر اور مدینہ منورہ کی ریاست کے خلاف جنگ کرے؟

اب ذرا دل تھام کر سنیں۔۔۔

اوپر بیان کردہ دونوں ظلم عظیم اور گنائہ کبیرہ ہندوستان میں حسین احمد مدنی اور دارالعلوم دیوبند نے کیے اور کررہے ہیں۔ جب سیدی رسول اللہﷺ نے یہ فیصلہ فرمالیا کہ مدینہءثانی پاکستان نے قائم ہونا ہے اور مسلمانوں کو اس کی جانب ہجرت کرنی ہے تو سیدی رسول اللہﷺ کے حکم کو جاننے کے باوجو د حسین احمد مدنی اور دیوبند نے مشرکوں کا ساتھ دینے کا فیصلہ کیا، مسلمانوں کو ہجرت سے روکا، اس بات پر اصرار کرتے رہے کہ مشرکوں کے ساتھ متحدہ ہندوستان میں رہیں،اور پھر اس دن لیکر آج تک مدینہءثانی پاکستان کے خلاف تلواریں نکال کر جنگ آزما ہیں۔

ذرا ایک لمحے کیلئے رک کر سوچیں کوئی تو وجہ تھی کہ درویش وقت اور موذن امت حضرت علامہ محمد اقبالؒ نے حسین احمد مدنی اور دیوبند کو ”ابو لہب“ کہا تھا۔

عجم ہنوز نداد رموزِِ دیں ورنہ
ز دیوبند حسین احمد! ایں چہ بو العجبی است
سرود برسر منبر کہ ملت از وطن است
چہ بے خبر ز مقام محمد عربی است
بمصطفیٰ برساں خویش راہ کہ دیں ہمہ اوست
اگر بہ او نرسیدی، تمام بو لہبی است

ایک اور مقام پر علامہ اقبالؒ نے بہت واضح طور پر فرمایا کہ اپنی اسلام دشمنی میں دیوبند وہی کردار ادا کررہے ہیں کہ جو قادیانی امت رسولﷺ کے خلاف ادا کررہے ہیں۔

”قادیان اور دیوبند اگرچہ ایک دوسرے کی ضد ہیں، لیکن دونوں کا سرچشمہ ایک ہے، اور دونوں اس تحریک کی پیدوار ہیں جسے عرف عام میں وہابیت کہا جاتا ہے“۔ علامہ اقبال۔ ( کتاب: اقبال کے حضور از سید نذیر نیازی)

جب بھی ہم دیوبند کی پاکستان دشمنی اور مشرک دوستی کی بات کرتے ہیں تو فوراً ہی اندھے گونگے اور بہرے ہم پر فرقہ واریت پھیلانے کا الزام لگانے لگتے ہیں۔ کچھ باتیں ذرا اچھی طرح سمجھ لیں۔

-1 دیوبند اور بریلی ہندوستان میں قائم دو مدرسوں کے نام ہیں۔

-2 دیوبند کسی مسلک یا فرقے کا نام نہیں بلکہ سنی حنفی مسلک کے ایک مدرسے کا نام ہے۔

-3 بریلوی بھی مسلک کے اعتبار سے سنی حنفی ہیں۔ بلکہ پاکستان کی زیادہ تر اکثریت سنی اور حنفی ہے۔

-4 ہم صرف دیوبند کی سیاسی اور عسکری پالیسیوں کے خلاف بیان دے رہے ہیں۔ ہم نے کبھی ان کے مسلک سنی حنفی یا عقیدے کے خلاف کبھی بات نہیں کی۔

-5 دیوبندیوں کے سیاسی جرائم کو بیان کرنے کو فرقہ واریت کہنا ایسی ہی جہالت اور بے شرمی ہے کہ جیسے ایم کیو ایم کے جرائم کو بیان کرنے کو لسانیت کہا جائے۔

-6 جب ہم مدرسہءدیوبند کی اسلام دشمنی بیان کرتے ہیں تو جاہلوں کی طرف سے فوراً ہی یہ اعتراض بھی ہوتا ہے کہ مولانا اشرف علی تھانوی ، علامہ شبیر احمد عثمانی بھی تو دیوبندی تھے اور انہوں نے قائداعظم کا ساتھ دیا تھا۔ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ دونوں مولانا اشرف علی تھانوی اور علامہ شبیر احمد عثمانی نے مدرسہءدیوبند سے مکمل طور پر استعفیٰ دے کر اپنے آپ کو الگ کرلیا تھا۔ اس کے نتیجے میں ان دونوں حضرات کو حسین احمد مدنی اور دیوبند کی جانب سے شدید مزاحمت اور ذلت و رسوائی کا بھی سامنا کرنا پڑا۔ علامہ شبیر احمد عثمانی نے دیوبند کی سیاسی تنظیم ”جمعیت علمائے ہند“ کے مقابلے میں اپنی ایک نئی مذہبی سیاسی جماعت ”جمعیت علمائے اسلام“ بنائی، اور پھر اس نئی جماعت کے ساتھ قائداعظم کی حمایت میں کھڑے ہوگئے۔ علامہ شبیر احمد عثمانی کو دیوبندی کہنا اتنا ہی شرمناک بات ہے کہ جیسے کوئی قائداعظم کو کانگریسی کہے، کہ قائداعظم تقریباً سولہ برس تک کانگریس کے رکن بھی رہے تھے۔ لہذا یہ بالکل واضح کرلیں کہ جب پاکستان کے معاملے پر دیوبند میں اختلاف ہوا تو مولانا اشرف علی تھانوی اور علامہ شبیر احمد عثمانی دونوں ہی دیوبند سے الگ ہو کر تحریک پاکستان میں شامل ہوگئے تھے۔ دیوبند اس وقت بھی پاکستان کا مخالف تھا اور آج بھی مخالف ہے۔ پاکستان بننے کے بعد علامہ شبیر احمد عثمانی کی جماعت جمعیت علمائے اسلام کو مفتی محمود جیسے کانگریسی مولویوں نے اغواءکرلیا تھا۔ اور آج تک یہی صورتحال ہے۔

مفتی محمود پہلے جمعیت علمائے ہند کے کارکن تھے اور پھر انہوں نے جمعیت علمائے اسلام پر قبضہ کرلیا۔ سرحدی گاندھی عبدالغفار خان کے ساتھ ملکر تحریک پاکستان کے خلاف زور لگایا۔ سرحد ریفرنڈم میں بھی اس شخص نے پاکستان کے خلاف جدوجہد کی۔ لیکن جب خان عبدالقیوم خان سرحد کے وزیراعلی بنےٰ تو مفتی محمود سرحد سے بھاگ کر ملتان آگئے۔ ان کے اس معروف فتوے سے آپ ان کی نیت کا اندازہ بخوبی لگا سکتے ہیں جو انہوں نے 1944 ءمیں دیا تھا: ”دنیا کی تمام قوموں سے رشتے ناطے جائز ہیں، لیکن کسی مسلم لیگی کو لڑکی دینا ناجائز ہے“۔ (اخبار آزاد، 5 اگست 1944)۔ اسی مفتی محمود نے پاکستان کی پارلیمنٹ میں کھڑے ہو کر کہا تھا کہ ”شکر ہے کہ ہم پاکستان کے بنانے کے گناہ میں شامل نہیں تھے“۔ آج علامہ شبیر احمد عثمانی کی جمعیت علمائے اسلام کانگریسی ملاﺅں کے قبضے میں ہے کہ جس کی سربراہی آج مفتی محمود کا بیٹا فضل الرحمن کررہا ہے۔ پاکستان کے دیوبندیوں کی سیاسی قیادت، کہ جو آج پاکستان دشمن ہے، انہی ناپاک وجودوں کے ہاتھ میں ہے۔ علامہ شبیر احمد عثمانی اور ان کے طالب علم آنے والے وقتوں میں سیاست سے کنارہ کش ہو کر صرف دینی کاموں میں ہی مشغول ہوگئے۔ لہذا اب یہ بات بالکل واضح ہوجانی چاہیے کہ دیوبند کا پاکستان بنانے میں کردار تو دور کی بات، یہ تو بابا اقبالؒ کی زبان کے وقت کے ”ابولہب“ ہیں۔

”انگریز دشمنی سے یہ کہاں لازم ہے آتا ہے کہ ہم اسلام دشمنی اختیار کرلیں۔ یہ کیا انگریز دشمنی ہے جس سے اسلام کو ضعف پہنچے۔ ارباب دیوبند کو سمجھنا چاہیے کہ اس دشمنی میں وہ نادانستہ اس راستے پر چل رہے ہیں جو انگریزوں کا تجویز کردہ ہے۔“ علامہ اقبال ۔(کتاب: اقبال کے حضور از سید نذیر نیازی)

-7 دیوبندی حضرات یہ بات بھی کرتے ہیں کہ یہ درست ہے کہ ہم نے پاکستان بننے کی مخالفت کی کہ اس بات پر اختلاف ہوسکتا ہے کہ مسجد بنائی جائے یا نہیں، لیکن اگر ایک دفعہ مسجد بن جائے تو پھر اختلاف ختم ہوجاتا ہے اور پھر سب ملکر اس میں نماز پڑھتے ہیں۔ دیوبندی علماءکا یہ اعتراض بھی صرف جھوٹ اور خرافات پر مبنی ہے۔ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ ہندو مشرکوں کی طرح دیوبند نے بھی آج تک پاکستان کو قبول نہیں کیا، ہندو مشرکوں کے ساتھ ملکر پاکستان کو تباہ کرنے کیلئے باقاعدہ جنگ کررہے ہیں، اور ان کی بدنصیبی کہ آج کے دور کے خوارج بھی انہی کی صفوں سے برآمدہوئے ہیں۔ دیوبند کی پاکستان میں نمائندگی جمعیت علمائے اسلام اور فضل الرحمن کرتا ہے۔ یہی دیوبند کے اصل نمائندہ ہیں اور انہی کا عمل دیوبند کی نیتوں اور اعمال پر حجت سمجھا جائے گا۔ فضل الرحمن کا پاکستان کو تباہ کرنے میں جو کردار ہے اور جہاد کشمیر کو فروخت کرنے میں جو اس کا ہاتھ ہے، اس کا بڑا تعلق اس کی اپنی ذلالت سے بھی ہے مگر اس کی اصل وجہ وہ حسین احمد مدنی کی ”ابولہبی“ سوچ ہے کہ جس سے متاثر ہو کر فضل الرحمن کے باپ نے یہ کہا تھا کہ شکر ہے کہ ہم پاکستان بنانے کے گناہ میں شامل نہیں تھے۔

-8 آج پاکستان کی ریاست کے خلاف جو سب سے خوفناک مذہبی جنگ لڑی جارہی ہے وہ دیوبندی سوچ اور اس کے خوارج کی جانب سے ہے۔ نہ اس بات سے انکار ممکن ہے نہ مزید کسی ثبوت کی ضرورت، صرف جہالت، بے شرمی اور ڈھٹائی چاہیے اس حقیقت سے انکار کرنے کیلئے۔

-9 برصغیر پاک و ہند کی تاریخ میں، تحریک پاکستان میں، اور اب پاکستان کو نقصان پہنچانے میں دارالعلوم دیوبند اور حسین احمد مدنی کی سوچ کا وہی کردار ہے کہ جو کسی ایسے بدنصیب بے غیرت کا ہو کہ جو سیدی رسول اللہﷺ کو ہجرت سے روکے اور غزوئہ بدر میں ابوجہل کے ساتھ کھڑا ہو۔ اگر دارالعلوم دیوبند پاکستان کی مخالفت نہ کرتا تو مزید لاکھوں مسلمانوں ہجرت کرکے پاکستان کی محفوظ پناہ میں پہنچ جاتے۔ آج ہندوستان میں پندرہ کروڑ مسلمانوں کا یہ حال ہے کہ ان کی روزانہ کی آمدنی 20 روپے روز سے بھی کم ہے۔ مسلمانوں حال کا دلتوں اور شودروں سے زیادہ ذلیل ہوچکا ہے۔ بالکل کیڑے مکوڑوں کی طرح غلاظتوں کے ڈھیروں میں مسلمان اپنی زندگیاں گزارنے پر مجبور ہیں اور یہ سب کچھ ان کے ساتھ اس لیے ہورہا ہے کہ حسین احمد مدنی نے عین ہجرت کے موقع پر، عین میدان جنگ میں، امت رسولﷺ کے ساتھ ایسی خیانت کی کہ تاریخ اب اس کا نام میر جعفر اور میر صادق کے ساتھ نفرت کے ساتھ لیتی رہے گی۔
یہ بات کتابوں سے ثابت شدہ ہے کہ علامہ شبیر احمد عثمانی کو سیدی رسول اللہﷺ کی زیارت نصیب ہوئی تھی اور اس کے بعد ہی علامہ عثمانی دیوبند سے مستعفی ہو کر قائد کے خادم بن گئے تھے۔ یہ بات بھی تاریخ سے ثابت شدہ ہے کہ حسین احمد مدنی کو روحانی طور پر یہ بات بتا دی گئی تھی کہ پاکستان کے قیام کا فیصلہ سیدی رسول اللہﷺ فرماچکے ہیں، مگر اس کے باوجود بھی اس بدنصیب و بدبخت نے سیدی رسول اللہﷺ کے فیصلے کے خلاف کھڑے ہو کر جنگ کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا۔

”حسین احمد مدنی نے قیام پاکستان سے قبل ایک رات دو بجے مولانا رشید احمد صدیقی اور انسپکٹر مدارس چوہدری محمد مصطفی کو طلب فرمایا۔ دونوں فوراً حاضر ہوئے تو ارشاد فرمایا کہ بھائی اصحاب باطنی نے ہندوستان کی تقسیم کا فیصلہ کردیا ہے اور پنجاب اور بنگال کو بھی تقسیم کردیا گیا ہے۔ ان دونوں نے سن کر کہا کہ ہم جو تقسیم کے مخالف ہیں اب کیا کریں۔ اس پر حضرت مدنی نے فرمایا کہ یہ فیصلہ تقدیر کا ہے جب کہ ہم جس بات کو حق سمجھتے ہیں اس کی تدبیر میں لگے رہیں گے۔“ ( کتاب: سیرت النبی بعد از وصال النبیﷺ از عبدالمجید صدیقی، حصہ چہارم، صفحہ 298-299 )

یہ ایسا گناہ ہے کہ جس کا کوئی کفارہ نہیں ہے، کوئی توبہ نہیں ہے، کوئی امید نہیں ہے کہ سیدی رسول اللہﷺ کی سفارش نصیب ہوسکے۔ عین میدان جنگ میں کہ جب امت رسول ﷺ اپنی تاریخ کی سب سے بڑی جنگ لڑ کر، سب سے زیادہ قربانیاں دے کر، مدینہءثانی کو قائم کررہی تھی، عین اس وقت دیوبند اور اس کے بڑوں نے امت رسولﷺ کی پشت میں خنجر گھونپ کر مشرکین کا ساتھ دیا۔ اب یہ جتنی مرضی توبہ کرنے کا دعویٰ کرتے رہیں، توبہ کے دروازے ان پر بند ہیں۔

ان کی بدنصیبی تو یہ ہے کہ آج مدینہءثانی پاکستان بننے کے ستر سال بعد بھی یہ اپنی غلطی تسلیم کرنے کیلئے تیار نہیں ہیں۔ کسی بھی جماعت یا مسلک کی نمائندگی ان کے علماءکرتے ہیں اور دیوبند کی جمعیت علمائے اسلام کا پاکستان دشمنی میں، بھارت کی حمایت میں، اور خوارج کی پشت پناہی میں کیا کردار ہے اور اس کو اب مزید بیان کرنے کی حاجت نہیں ہے، انا للہ و انا الیہ راجعون۔

آخر میں پاکستان میں ان مسلمان نوجونوں کو ایک اہم نصیحت کرتے چلیں۔ جیسا کہ ہم نے کہا کہ دیوبند اور بریلوی دونوں ہی سنی حنفی مدارس ہیں، دونوں ہی ایک جیسی کتابیں پڑھاتے ہیں۔ دیوبندی یا بریلوی مدرسے میں سنی حنفی مکتبہءفکر کی تعلیم حاصل کرنے کا یہ مطلب نہیں ہے کہ آپ دیوبند کی سیاسی اور عسکری پالیسی کو بھی اختیار کرلیں۔ پاکستان میں آج کسی بھی دینی طالب علم میں نہ دیوبند دیکھا ہے نہ بریلی۔ اپنے آپ کو دیوبندی اور بریلوی کہنا اتنا ہی احمقانہ ہے کہ جیسے ایم کیو ایم کے پاکستان میں پیدا ہوئے لڑکے اپنے آپ کو مہاجر کہلائیں۔ مہاجر وہ ہوتا ہے کہ جس نے ہجرت کی ہو۔ اصل میں دیوبندی وہ ہوگا کہ جو دیوبند میں پڑھا ہوگا اور اسکے سیاسی و عسکری نظریات سے متفق ہوگا۔ پاکستان میں پڑھنے والے تمام طالب علم سنی اور حنفی ہیں اور ان کو ہر حال میں دیوبند کی سیاسی اور عسکری دہشت گردی سے اپنے آپ کو دور رکھنا ہوگا، ورنہ وہ اسی صف میں کھڑے ہونگے کہ جہاں حسین احمد مدنی جیسے علمائے سُو کھڑے ہیں، دنیا میں بھی جن کا نام کانگریسی مولوی اور آخرت میں بھی یہ نہرو اور گاندھی کے ساتھ ہی اٹھائے جائیں گے۔

ﮐﭩﮯ ﭘﺘﮭﺮ کو اپنی جگہ بٹھانے کے لئے چوٹ لگانےکی ضرورت پیش آئے تو موٹے کپڑے کو پتھر پرتہ بتہ یعنی کئی بار فولڈ کر کے رکھیں پھر لکڑی کے ہتھوڑے سے آہستہ آہستہ سے چوٹ لگائیں تاکہ آواز پیدا نہ ہو اور اگر ﺗﺮﻣﯿﻢ ﮐﯽ ﺿﺮﻭﺭﺕ ہو ﺗﻮ ﺍﺳﮯ ﻭﺍﭘﺲ ﺍﺳﯽ ﺑﺴﺘﯽ
ﺑﮭﯿﺠﺎ ﺟﺎئے وہاں اسے کاٹ کر درست کیا جائے، ﻣﺎﮬﺮﯾﻦ ﮐﻮ ﺣﮑﻢ ﺗﮭﺎ ﮐﮧ ﮬﺮ ﺷﺨﺺ ﮐﺎﻡ ﮐﮯ ﺩﻭﺭﺍﻥ ﺑﺎ ﻭﺿﻮ ﺭﮬﮯ ﺍﻭﺭ ﺩﺭﻭﺩ ﺷﺮﯾﻒ ﺍﻭﺭ ﺗﻼﻭﺕ ﻗﺮﺁﻥ ﻣﯿﮟ ﻣﺸﻐﻮﻝ ﺭﮬﮯ،

Please maintain the dignity and honor of this sacred occasion. This is a serious, sacred, blessed occasion. Do NOT turn this into a circus, carnival or fun fair ! Naats on the tunes of Indian songs are extremely beyadab way of expressing your love. Reciting musical naats in a group as if they are all in a disco is actually blasphemous.

There are many who celebrate just to score points against those who disagree. DO NOT do this. If you cannot do this in love of Sayyadi Rasul Allah (sm), with adab and love, then its better not to do it.

Recite durud shareef, feed the hungry, do acts of kindness, recite Naat shareef with adab, share stories from Sayyadi's blessed life and teach your children adab. This is the way to celebrate.

May Allah have mercy upon this Ummah. There is one extreme which calls this occasion as bidah and shirk. There is other which has lost all sanctity of the occasion and have turned it into a carnival. The middle path of adab, love and dignity which has been practiced by the Ummah always has been lost somewhere in between !

What the hard line myopic Mullah mentality does not understand that love and adab of Sayyadi Rasul Allah (sm) is NOT a question of Law, Fiqh or Fatwa ! This is a sublime, mystical, spiritual dimension of adab and love understood only by those who are blessed with Sharah e Sadr and Baseerat to know the delicate concept of Deen.

It is easy to put Fatwa of Shirk, Bidat and innovation on every act of love and adab for Sayyadi Rasul Allah (sm) but we invite them to see what Sayyadna AbuBakr and Sayyadna Umer did when it comes to adab e Rasul (sm). This is NOT based on Fatwa but on Taqwa and adab ! Why did Shaikhain Khulfa e Rashedeen did this ?? Think about it... ask Allah for hidaya and firasat and sharah sadr...

It is strange fitnah & waswasa of shaitan that he creates when someone tries to remember Sayyadi Rasul Allah (sm).

Those raising objections are themselves are drowned in Haram, filth and scum from head to toe in Riba, banking, paper currency, fractional reserve, bonds, share gambling and all sorts of financial haram filth through this riba based economic system which is WAR against Allah and His Rasul (sm). Saudi Muftis do not see that their govt is the biggest broker of Riba based banking system. Same is for Iran also. Turkey and Pakistan govt are no different.

We have muftis in Haram who give fatwas that Banking is Halal but Naat Shareef is Haram !! Innalillahe inna ilehe rajeoon !

Tabarāni narrates on the authority of Ali, May Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet ﷺ said:
أدبوا أولادكم على ثلاث خصال حب نبيكم وحب أهل بيته وعلى قراءة القرآن فان حملة القرآن في ظل الله يوم لا ظل إلا ظله مع أنبيائه وأصفيائه
‘Teach your children three qualities: Love of your Prophet; Love of his family and the recitation of the Quran. Verily the learned of the Quran will be with the Prophets and the pious in the shade of Allah’s mercy on The Day when there will be no shade but His.’

This is up to us to find ways to teach our children love and adab. If Milad is done with this niyat, then it is Hukm of Syyadi to do it.

Sayyadi Rasul Allah (sm) NEVER compiled Quran in a book form. It was memorized or was written by various Sahabas on their own. In the times of Khilafat e Rashida, when so many Huffaz were martyred in a battle, it was suggested to compile and collect the Quran in a book. Sayyadna Abu Bakr was reluctant as Rasul Allah (sm) had not done it. some Sahabas were extremely careful not to start a Bida but then it was agreed that this new innovation is NOT the bida Allah has forbidden. So Quran was collected, compiled, written and spread as a book.

Sayyadi Rasul Allah (sm) discouraged writing of Ahadees. Sahabas never did it. Sayyadna Umer even prevented Hazrat Abu Huraira from narrating Ahadees. First proper book of Ahadees Muta Imam Malik came 150 years after Sayaydi Rasul Allah !! NO ONE Called it a bida for it was needed at that time as people had begun to forget ahadees and their compilation has become a necessity.

Sahabas Never had documented codified law or Fiqh. It was NOT done during times of Rasul Allah (sm) and Khulfa e Rashideen. But when the Islamic lands expanded, there was a need for a codified law. For the first time, Imam Malik, then Imam Shfii, then other Imams created Fiqh, 2 to 3 hundred years after Khilafat e Rashida. NO sahabi, Tabii or Taba tabii was called Hanfi, Maliki, shafii or Hanbli or Ahl Hadees, Salfi or Shia ! Are these terms Bida too ??

NO Sahaba ever trasnlated Quran. It was not done for the next 1000 years !! in India, first persian translation was done by Shah Wali Ullah. People called it a bida but Shah WaliUllah explained the wisdom that people have forgotton arabic and its translaiton is needed as the objective is to teach the wisdom of Quran to the people. NO ONE then objected and translations started all over the Ummah. That was NOT a bad bida but a needed Ijtihad to spread the message.

There is direct Hukm of Sayyadi Rasul Allah (sm) to teach your children love of Rasul Allah and Ahl Beyt and teach them to read Quran. The Hukm has been given directly and the methods have been left to the Ummah to decide.

In the beginning, Sahabas had seen Rasul Allah (sm), lived with him and knew him closely. But after decades and centuries, when Islam spread to farthest corners of the world, people did not know Sayyadi Rasul Allah (sm). There was NO media, no TV, no books, no way to travel great distances for all the people to go to Medina to visit Masjid e Nabwi, so some people drew from the original hukm & organized proper Milad celebrations where love of Sayyadi Rasul Allah was developed.

This is NOT a bida but the need of the time to make sure that Ummah know the beautiful attributes of Sayyadi Rasul Allah. For centuries, this has been accepted as the normal good practice to fulfil the hukm of Sayyadi Rasul Allah to teach your children and people love and adab of Sayyadi and ahl beyt. This is NOT a bad bida. This is NOT an innovation. Sahabas did not need this. We need this. Sahabas did NOT need fiqh, books of Hadees & written translated Quran. we need these. These do NOT become bida. These are the permissions within the boundaries of Ijtihad and Ijmah of the Ummah.

RasoolAllah [May Allah bless Him and grant Him peace] stated: "The person who introduced a good thing in Islam, shall obtain the reward for it and also the reward for those who adopt it. As for the one who introduces a bad thing (Bid'ah Sayyi ah) he will obtain the punishment for introducing it and also for those who adopt it, will also be punished."

(Sahih Muslim in Kitaab-uz-Zakaat Tirmidhee chapter Eleleven).

This Hadith gives proof of the fact that it is permissible to introduce a good act in Islam, also it gives permission to follow that deed with the intention of reward.

This occasion was always associated with serious adab, love and veneration of Sayyadi Rasul Allah (sm) through ways and means which are allowed in deen.

It was NEVER meant to be a carnival, Mela, fun fair or a meena bazaar. Unfortunately, we see lots of exaggeration and makroohat here also. If the adab, love, seriousness and the dignity of the events is not maintained, then it actually enters into the domain of beyadabi and gustakhi. This is also a fact that many do it just to humiliate the opposing sect which is opposed to these celebrations. The intention is not to generate love of Sayyadi Rasul Allah (sm) but to score points.

Remember, the amaal depends upon Niyat alone ! Even a good amal done with bad niyat becomes riyakari and munafiqat.

During Ottomon Khilafat, the event was marked by Gun salutes, dignified march led by the Khalifa or Ulama or Governors. There were competitions and events of Quran reading, Naat Shareef, feeding the hungry, taking care of the poor, needy and the infirm, lighting on the streets and healthy military competitions. Life of Sayyadi Rasul Allah was recited and shared with people for all to know and love Sayyadi more and more. Halqas of Zikr were held and durud shareef was recited in abundance at all levels. This is the spirit of the event which sometimes gets lost in lack of knowledge or over reaction to the opposite sect.

Cutting the cake or dancing in mindless frolic and fun is actually beyadabi and creates more divisions within the society.

To those Muslims, who wish to express their love for Sayyadi, we would urge to do so with the dignity of a Momin, worthy of being in this Ummah. Those who dont want to do it, we would ask them to be tolerant pl.
