This was the first azaan in this structure

 in the last 900 years

 

For 900 years, this Masjid is the symbol of religious and spiritual prowess of Suljuk Sultans 8 of whom rest here side by side after doing their duty heroically and with courage against Crusaders. Sultan Allauddin was the one who invited Maulana Rumi to Konya and this Masjid is now dedicated to this great Sultan. The Majestic structure is built with stone and has used many large stones and columns from the previous Roman era, who were defeated and pushed back from this region by the Seljuk Swords. The wooden Pulpit or Manbar of the Masjid is another amazing piece of Seljuk woodwork, standing here for the past 900 years and still solid.

One of the structures was incompetence but still stood majestically for hundreds of years. We decided to give Azaan to glory the Almighty and to revive the lost glory of the Millat. This was the first azaan in this structure in the last 900 years, ever since its construction began but was never completed due to wars in the region at that time. Allahu Akbar, Shukar Alhamdolillah!
